INTERCESSION
Today’s Scripture: 1 Timothy 2:1 [NLT] “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf and give thanks for them.”
During the Fast, has the Lord put anyone upon your heart to be praying for during the 21 days? Sometimes, when we have needs of our own, the best thing we can do is intercede and pray for others. The Bible says our Father already knows what our needs are so we just need to ask. He also knows the needs of others and sometimes they need someone to ask for them. Take the time to not only pray on your behalf, but also on behalf of others. They are counting on you.

Scripture
Colossians 1:9 [ETRV] “Since the day we heard these things about you, we have continued praying for you. This is what we pray: that you will know fully what God wants; that with your knowledge you will also have great wisdom and understanding in spiritual things.”
Confession: I pray for __________ (name of the person) today. My prayer is that they will know fully what God wants them to do. I pray they will have knowledge, great wisdom, and understanding concerning spiritual things as well as what they are facing in their life. I will continue to pray for them.
1 John 5:14 [MEV] “This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”
Confession: I pray for __________ (name of the person) today. Lord, I am confident You hear my prayer for them. I ask, on their behalf, that You will meet their needs according to Your will and purpose in their life. I know you hear me as I pray for __________ (name of the person).
Ephesians 6:18 [CEV] “Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and keep praying for God's people.”
Confession: I pray for __________ (name of the person) today. I ask that my prayer be powerful in the Spirit on behalf of __________ (name of the person) and their needs. I also pray for God’s people. I pray for the leaders and people in my church and for all Christians around the world. Help me to stay alert and vigilant in my prayers for others.

Prayer
Father, forgive me for not praying for others on a consistent basis. I ask that You help me to be sensitive to the needs of others. Help me to pray for others according to Your will and in line with Your Word. I want to consistently lift up the needs of my family, friends, coworkers, and God’s people. I will aspire to be more mindful of interceding on behalf of others this year. In the Name of Jesus I pray, amen.
