NEW SEASON
Today’s Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1 [NKJV] “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”
Do you have a passion, a vision, a dream, a desire, for something that has yet to be fulfilled? 2025 could be the year it comes to fruition. It can be challenging to comprehend why God would reveal something to you if it’s not the “season” for it to happen yet. An anonymous quote, “God-given struggles don’t come to stay. They will soon come to pass, just be patient. Wait while God works for you.” God is shaping you now to support the vision He has given you and that He will bring about in due season. His purposes are revealed when we become content with the process. Enjoy the “season” you are in for a “new season” is on its way.
Scripture
Ecclesiastes 3:11 [ETRV] “God gave us the ability to think about His world, but we can never completely understand everything He does. And yet, He does everything at just the right time.”
Confession: Lord, I trust Your timing in bringing to pass what You have put in my heart. I will continue to grow in the season I am in so that I can be prepared for the next season you have for me.
Acts 1:7 [ETRV] Jesus said to them, “The Father is the only one who has the authority to decide dates and times. They are not for you to know.”
Confession: Father, I submit to Your timing in my life. You know the dates and times concerning what You have deposited in me will come to pass. I will rest my mind and emotions in Your authority.
Isaiah 40:31 [GWT] “Yet the strength of those who wait with hope in the Lord will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won't become weary. They will walk and won't grow tired.”
Confession: I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might. I am waiting with great hope for what God will do in 2025. I will embrace my new beginning and the new season. I will soar, I will run and walk without becoming exhausted. Great are You, Lord, and greatly to be praised. Thank You for my new season!
Prayer
Father, forgive me if I have murmured and complained while waiting on Your timing of my new season. Help me to trust Your timing. Help me to grow in patience. I will continue to wait upon the new beginning with great hope and expectation. I pray You will do in me what needs to be done so I will be prepared and ready for the beginning of my new season. In the Name of Jesus I pray, amen.
